Do I need to replace the whole window?
Usually not. If the frame is sound, we replace only the glass unit inside it. That is typically a third to a half of the cost of a full window replacement and there is no disruption to siding, trim or drywall.
Why is there fog or moisture between the panes?
The perimeter seal on the double-pane unit has failed, letting moist air in. The fog cannot be cleaned away because it is inside the unit. Replacing the sealed unit is the only permanent fix.
How long does it take?
Measurement takes about 15 minutes. Units are custom made, normally 5 to 10 business days, and installation takes under an hour per unit. Most jobs are finished within a week of your call.
